Olfa’s 18mm and 28mm blades are ideal for trimming seams, scrapbooking, quilting, and more. The 45mm and 60mm blades are designed for heavy-duty cutting and can cut through multiple layers of fabric such as cotton, leather, suede, wool, fleece, and felt.
Rotary cutter blades should generally be changed every few weeks for daily use, or every 1–3 months for moderate use, typically after cutting about 4–6 quilts. Replace the blade immediately if you experience skipped threads, frayed edges, or need extra pressure to cut, as dull blades can damage your cutting mat.
